Administrative Core Overview

Overview: The Administrative Core provides overall oversight, coordination and integration of the Center, and constitutes the Center’s administrative infrastructure.  The Core is responsible for integrating research across the projects and making sure that the needs of each project are being met.  The Core facilitates communication among the investigators, convenes regular meetings of co-investigators, and arranges an annual Center retreat for all Center investigators.  The Core provides the central conduit for all communications with EPA staff including financial and progress reports and site visits.  The Core oversees progress of the individual projects toward their goals and ensures that the research performed as part of the Center is of the highest quality.
